International Orders

We are pleased to accept your order for international delivery. A significant part of our business is conducted with our overseas customers, and we have extensive experience with shipping and customs issues concerning your order.

International Configurations

Note regarding our Handy Board systems: Because of the variety of standards for mains current, we do not ship the DC adapter with our Handy Board systems destined for countries other than the US or Canada. We provide a $3 credit toward the price of the Handy Board system since the adapter is not provided.

Local Customs Duties

Please be aware that your government authorities may levy a value-added tax and/or other import duties before releasing your shipment for local delivery. These taxes or fees are your responsibility when your shipment arrives.

Please contact your local post office or other government authority to learn what fee schedule you should expect. Thank you.

Payment Options

We accept the following method of payment at this time:

• Credit Card Orders. Gleason Research accepts MasterCard and Visa. Please fax or mail in credit card orders, providing:
  • card number
  • expiration date
  • your full name as it appears on the card
  • shipping and billing addresses
  • issuing bank
  • your signature.

  Your order is shipped by the end of next business day after the receipt of your credit card order.

• Foreign Checks or Drafts in US funds. Your order is shipped after clearance of your foreign check or draft, one to three weeks after receipt. There is an additional fee associated with these methods of payment; see below.

Please make individual inquiries regarding lead time when ordering large quantities of assembled and tested boards.

Delivery Options

We recommend delivery via DHL international courier. We can also ship via international post.

International post is the least expensive, and to most countries offers service in 5 to 8 business days. Please note – our customers in Europe have reported problems with the company contracted to make parcel post deliveries, and we do not recommend EMS post service to Europe.

DHL is recommended for shipments that are more than $500, or for shipments that are urgent. Delivery times are 2 to 3 business days for the premium service, or 3 to 5 business days for the economy service.

When placing your order, please advise us of your preferred method of shipment. We would be glad to provide a specific shipping quote before your order is placed.

Please note that duties, taxes, and/or VAT may be levied by your government before your package is released from customs.
