We are pleased to carry this high-quality, molded USB-to-serial adapter cable. It works with Windows, Macintosh, and Linux systems, and provides a DB9M serial communications port (COM port) to computers that only have USB ports.
Driver CD-ROM is included. Drivers are provided for the following operating systems:
- Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP;
- Macintosh OS 8.6-9.x;
- Macintosh OS X (10.1 - 10.4);
- Linux
The cable is based on the Prolific 2303 chipset, which is built into a wide variety of devices.
The drivers that ship with the product on the mini-CD may be old.
